Scale Up Your Business Safely: Vital Strategies To Maintain Your Unique Qualities

Do you know how to scale up your business safely? I recently talked to a client worried about this, so I’m here today to share some important information about this topic. 

As business owners, we all want to make sure that when we get bigger, we don’t lose the important qualities that got us where we are today. My client had a recent growth spurt and was concerned about losing those special qualities that made his business what it is. However, there are a few things we can all do each month to work to avoid this. 

Start by brainstorming with all your employees and discussing what makes your group stand out. Think about everything that makes you great and has helped you get to the point where you are now. What are you doing with your customers, referral sources, and team members? How do you handle training? Come up with all of the things that you and your team have done in the last couple of years that has helped you grow.

Secondly, discuss all of the things you want to avoid. If you get stuck on this, imagine your TV provider or insurance company that you struggle to talk to. What do they do that bothers you? Think about what you need to make sure you all don’t do so that you continue to grow and your customers continue to love you.
