I’m an entrepreneur, and business coach focused on helping small business owners and their teams since 2008.
I started coaching by accident. As a franchisee in a national property damage restoration system, I got off to a fast start and was “rookie of the year” in my first year with the system. This caused my phone to ring almost daily from fellow franchisees asking for help. It didn’t take long to realize that I loved helping other small business owners. Anyone who took the same leap of faith in themselves and needed help was someone I wanted to help. What’s riskier than quitting your job and starting a small business?!?
My entrepreneurial spirit started at a young age – I worked for small business owners beginning in my early teens at restaurants and a small grocery store. I later worked for a real estate developer in Philadelphia, where I attended Drexel University. My first co-op job was with a huge company (IBM), which solidified my desire to be involved in small business rather than taking the corporate path.
I’ve owned, operated, and sold multiple businesses since 1994. As a certified business coach (with credentials from the ICF, CEC, and Best Year Yet), team coach, group facilitator, and business owner, I know all about the highs that come with scaling to 6-figure months and hundreds of 5-star reviews, to the lows of employee challenges, demanding customers and all the crazy in between.
I started a property damage restoration business in 2005 as a franchisee of a national system, went independent, and sold the business in 2017. In 2012, I started another insurance-related business that serves Southeastern Pennsylvania and sold it in 2021.
For the past 15 years, I’ve been coaching independent and franchise business owners involved with property damage restoration and general contracting – single location operations to large, multi-office 8-figure organizations.
I grew up in Allentown, PA, and moved to Philadelphia in 1986 when I began studying at Drexel University. I enjoy spending time with my wife and four children when not keeping busy with work. We live in Berwyn, PA, and enjoy spending as much time as possible at the Jersey Shore.
