Dear Restoration Friends,
Are you a current client or thinking about becoming a current client in my one-on-one coaching service?
Would you like to also work directly with me to increase your profitability, reduce the chaos and build value in your business for when it’s time to move on, all while building friendships with the top restoration business owners who discuss the latest and best ways to increase profits and remove themselves from the day-to-day operations?
This is my Private Client Group. I am your specialized advisor to help you get systems implemented to build a truly great business.
This program is designed specifically for mitigation only and full-service restoration businesses.
This is a streamlined and less expensive way to get more personalized direction without hiring a full-time team member who’s done what I’ve done and has the years of experience I have working with restoration companies all over the country.
It's also a place for friendships, learning, shared growth, and an expanded network of like-minded professionals from around the country.
I will personally consult you to get your systems rocking and rolling to make the phone ring, increase profits and reduce the chaos.
I am a big believer that your ownership of a business that uses repeatable systems to acquire new customers and produce work profitably - not tied to your time - is freedom.
You work directly with me. Here's what you get in my personal client group:
- Weekly Q&A Calls – Submit your question in advance and I will answer it on a group call
- Weekly Training – A live lesson with me on how to implement a strategy or tactic to increase revenue, become more profitable, and elevate your team
- 3 Meetings a Year – We meet 3x a year in Philadelphia, PA - an easy drive from the Philadelphia airport
- One-on-One Calls - Request a one-on-one call with me when you need advice
You can include a guest who works for you on our calls at no charge (your business partner, general manager, production manager, CFO, bookkeeper, marketing director, etc).
While a program like this is best for companies with revenue of $1.5+ million or 8+ team members, this is open to anyone who wants to improve their business and contribute their insights.
Weekly Group Q&A / Training Calls
We’ll meet for 90 minutes once a week. We’ll start each meeting with 45 minutes of member Q&A submitted in advance.
Please email my assistant your questions 48 hours beforehand. Ask me anything – to review a P&L, review a job budget vs. actual, give feedback on a system, help you create a process to solve a problem, discuss sales conversation starters with adjusters (or any other type of referral sources), review a business strategy, work on a scorecard for your team, create a training program for new hires or continuing education for your team . . . you name it.
This is how I'll work directly with you in a group format to keep things affordable. I firmly believe it's a better experience than pure one-on-one. This is a live discussion, not a webinar. It's a blend of both and is very effective.
Feel free to have your 2nd in command, if you have one, attend in your place on these calls. I will give them feedback and strategy specific to increasing profitability and holding your team accountable for results. In effect, I will train them for you and look over their shoulder.
Example questions and answers on these calls include:
- “Hey Scott, can you review my P&L for last month and give me some ideas to improve profitability?”
- “Hey Scott, what’s the best way to set up my chart of accounts so I can get meaningful information from my financial reports?”
- “Hey Scott, what are the key metrics I should be looking at for each position in my business - how can I track it and hold the team accountable?”
- “Hey Scott, take a look at my goals for this year and tell me how I can make them more powerful."
- “Hey Scott, what can I do to get away from the day-to-day operations?”
- “Hey Scott, what should I be thinking about to prepare for the eventual sale of my business?”
Then, when Q&A time is over, I’ll teach a lesson for roughly 30-45 minutes to help you in a variety of areas, such as increasing your revenue, understanding your financials, getting more profitable, building a business based on a systematic approach and working yourself out of the daily operations so you can focus on the bigger picture and your personal life.
This is my roadmap to building a successful and profitable business that can operate without the owner being involved in the day-to-day operations. This is the method I used in my business to generate a significant income, and a great lifestyle where I was able to spend time with my family, and start multiple businesses. This is my master “work from anywhere” plan to grow your business into an enterprise you can pass on to the next generation or sell someday for a lot of money when the time is right for you to move on.
What I teach and coach on is exactly what I would put in place if I were in your shoes.

(3) Two-Day In-Person Meetings
I picked a convenient and affordable venue for our in-person meetings. Get in, get the information, and get home.
We meet 3 times a year in person to accelerate your implementation and discuss best practices among peers. I also want to keep you excited about growing your business, and it's important to meet in person a few times a year.
This is your time to reflect, think, plan, and meet other entrepreneurial owners excited about getting more profitable, reducing the chaos, building valuable businesses, and overall personal growth.
While discussions will vary, we mainly talk about what systems are working in the current market to get the phone to ring and produce work with a high level of profitability.
I heavily lead the meeting where it's about 50% me and 50% client insights. I want to give you full explanations of how to make progress, not just surface ideas.
Meetings are on a Thursday/Friday. We start at 1 pm on Thursday with dinner served. We'll then start again the next day (Friday) at 8:30 am and conclude at 5:30 pm. I'll provide lunch on Friday for us in the room.
You are welcome to bring one guest who works for you at a discounted companion rate. I recommend this is your general manager, business partner, or operations/sales manager.

Looking forward to working more closely with you.
Scott
Who's Scott anyway?

Scott Miller has owned, operated, and sold multiple businesses since 1994. As a certified business coach (with ICF, CEC, and Best Year Yet), team coach, group facilitator, and business owner, Scott knows all about the highs that come with scaling to 6-figure months and hundreds of 5-star reviews, to the lows of employee challenges, demanding customers and all the crazy in between. Scott started a property damage restoration business in 2005 as a franchisee of a national system, went independent, and sold the business in 2017. In 2012, he started another related business that serves Southeastern Pennsylvania and sold it in 2021.
His firm, The Growth League, has helped implement strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and a systematic approach to business for hundreds of restoration professionals across the U.S.
For the past 15 years, Scott has been coaching independent and franchise business owners involved with property damage restoration and general contracting – single location operations to large, multi-office 8-figure organizations. Scott is passionate about helping restoration business owners get more profitable, understand their financials, and build a business that can be sold for seven figures or more. His mission is your financial, professional, and personal growth.
When not keeping busy with work, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. Scott resides in Berwyn, PA and his office is in Wayne, PA. He grew up in Allentown, PA, and moved to the Philadelphia area in 1986 to attend Drexel University, where he earned a B.S in Marketing with minors in Finance and Photography.

What Clients are Saying...

“I have worked with Scott as my coach for several years. His ability to listen allows us to come up with solutions to issues that affect me both personally and professionally. He has good advice when needed, and because he’s walked in my shoes, I find peace of mind when working through any scenario with him. If you are looking for a coach to help you grow as a person and business leader, Scott is your coach! Feel free to contact me directly to discuss in greater detail how my work with Scott has been transformational.”
Ken Barnard
Integrity Construction & Restoration

“Scott has been coaching me for the last eight years. In that time, my business revenue has increased by 400%. Whether it's sports or business, even top performers can benefit from having a coach. Scott goes over everything from operations, processes and procedures, accounts receivable, hiring, firing, generating new business, QuickBooks, and everything in between. He is now coaching my managers to help me make them the best they can be. Even when we know what needs to be done, it's easy to make excuses, but Scott holds us accountable. He cares about both me and my business and I'm proud to call him my friend.”
Bill Savage
Savage Restoration

“When I started working with Scott, I was looking for collaboration. Bringing you in Scott helped us increase our gross profitability by almost 8% in one quarter, and we were able to reduce our accounts receivable days from 45-60 to 32 in the 2nd quarter of working together. Our recon manager needed to learn to delegate and let go - you were able to help him make a lot of progress in this area. With the GM, having someone other than the owner to work with gave him an outside perspective and also helped him to implement a scorecard so we could truly collaborate internally and track our progress. We started solving issues as a team.”
Craig Moody
Mammoth Restoration, Arizona

“After 15 years of running my own business, I kind of lost focus on the end game which would be to eventually sell the Company I worked so hard to grow. I reached out to Scott at "The Growth League" and he coached and guided us to a very successful sale of the Company.
Over an approximately two year period, Scott helped us grow in volume and profit, by coaching all of us at the business with a multitude of insightful suggestions and guidance. Scott was always there to discuss different situations that would come up, then help us rectify the situations with positive results. Many thanks to Scott at "The Growth League" for all his help and guidance.”
